A lot more detail is coming soon
Hermes, the Greek God of Travel, adventure, and exploration, serves as a symbol for EMMA Foundation's commitment to embracing the spirit of wanderlust and discovery. EMMA's founder, Munzer, himself exemplifies this passion for travel, having explored over 90 countries in the past 40 years. What makes his journeys unique is that he travels with his entire family, including his children, both when they were kids and now as adults.
Munzer's travel philosophy goes beyond simply visiting tourist hotspots. He seeks out remote locations, immerses himself in local cultures, and learns from the people he meets along the way. From the Arctic and Antarctic circles to the farthest corners of the globe, Munzer has had extraordinary experiences with wildlife, participated in polar plunges and the Wim-Hof method in Antarctica, and embarked on safaris in Africa and the Amazon Jungle. He has also trekked through the Himalayas, explored the Hunza region, and visited the Blue Mountain of Australia. In addition to his adventures in natural landscapes, Munzer has spent time in major cities worldwide, fostering connections with locals wherever he goes.
Munzer's belief in the importance of Piston 4 (Philotes - Family, Love, Friends) is evident in how he involves his family in his travels. He understands that building strong bonds and creating lasting memories with loved ones are integral to leading a happy and fulfilled life.
To share the spirit of exploration and discovery, EMMA encourages individuals to start their own local clubs under the name and support of EMMA's Hermes Travel. These clubs can focus on travel-related discussions and activities, fostering a community of like-minded individuals eager to embark on new adventures. As with all of EMMA's 8 Pistons, Emma Foundation provides guidance and support to help these clubs thrive. For more details and inspiration, individuals can refer to Munzer's 8-Piston Poster.
Through EMMA's Hermes Travel clubs, people can come together to share travel stories, exchange tips and insights, and plan future explorations. These clubs serve as platforms for fostering a sense of wanderlust and nurturing a passion for learning from diverse cultures and experiences. With EMMA's guidance, these clubs can contribute to making the world a little bit better by encouraging personal growth through travel and exploration.
